It all started when our family accidentally happened upon a cute little town named Findley Lake, NY. While traveling home to KY from Alfred, NY, after visiting family, we grew tired and decided to pull over and grab a cup of coffee. As we pulled into town, we felt serenity and excitement! What is this place? Instead of coffee, we had ice cream cones beside the lake. Findley Lake quickly became a place we love to be!

Bison Trace Luxury Camping came about a few years later. It’s located in the beautiful countryside of French Creek, only four miles from Findley Lake. Owning a campground is something we have always wanted to do; however, we wanted to take it further and offer a very special, unique camping experience. A place you don’t want to leave. We have combined luxury with a beautiful natural setting and hope to leave you with an experience you’ll always remember. The vision of Bison Trace has been a long time coming, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
